I tell Pickett all the time, but it's the most retarded concept I've heard for moneyline bets.
You don't give someone an extra bonus because they got a stack right, penalizing a moneyline is the mirror of that situation.
The whole point of the moneyline is you are decreasing your odds by going against Vegas and refusing the extra points they give you. Obviously, by decreasing odds, you are increasing your payout. There should be no reason to penalize moneylines.

if you don't like the rules, don't play the game.

first i am not the ghost person who responded, but 2nd, ur an idiot..u shouldnt be rewarded extra for picking one game right instead of the people who pick 6...it's just an option, as for moneylining, that is a harder thing to do considering that team is not supposed to win the game (not cover the spread, WIN THE GAME). i really hope i someone kicks your butt this week, bc u r a moron for even posting this. thank you for making everyone who reads your post want to have those 30 seconds of their life back! brad, ryan, keep things the way they are, you got it right!

Haha this is awesome...I could see poor Chad Hunter posting this, but not the person who is winning and about to get $750. Sometimes you are better off keeping quiet.

Not gonna lie, this made no sense. It may be the utter lack of punctuation or the inability to type the word "you." I know you weren't the ghost poster, I figured out it was Erika. I'm confused, are you agreeing with me here and still calling me an idiot? You're stating it's harder to do a moneyline, which explains the bonus points for getting it right, but should you be punished for trying to do something harder? Explain to me why there aren't any negative points for getting a parlay wrong? It's the same concept, lowering your odds to win and get a bonus if you manage to pull it off. Haha this is awesome...I could see poor Chad Hunter posting this, but not the person who is winning and about to get $750. Sometimes you are better off keeping quiet. I like stirring the pot a little, I really think fixing this rule will make next year's better. Who says I'm about to get it, I could have a horrible week and Babson could have a great one, never know.

It was me, you win! I wasn't trying to be "gutsy", but ad hominem defenses are so easy, I'll assume you couldn't come up with anything better. I hadn't felt the need to create an account to come on here to whine about losing points on something I KNEW I would when I placed my bets, so when it said Name, I simply put guest thinking it was asking for an account name and I did not have one. So sorry, I'll remember to put my name the zero other times I have to come on here to complain about being penalized for a bet I CHOSE to take.

Apparently it's too difficult to have a legitimate discussion/argument over this. Pity.
And no, this was not a whining thread, as some seem to think.

We do appreciate the feedback and obviously the goal of the league is to make it fun and fair for everyone. The system isn't perfect and was simply taken from another league like this one. We are free to make changes before next season and we will. The goal is to grow the league to as large as possible. Once we get into the 20's and 30's we can start having divisions within the league and expand further. There will be a time to talk to me or Brad about rule changes over the summer. Honestly, you do have a point. I think everyone just thought it was the wrong time for you to bring it up considering you had just lost a moneyline and you were aware of the rules.
